Under the “Chief Minister Punjab’s Livestock Card” program, which aims to increase the province’s supply of meat and milk by providing financial assistance, Punjab has so far given more than 11,000 livestock cards to farmers. A nd of these requests, the Bank of Punjab has authorized over 14,000 applications.

On December 5, the Punjab Chief Minister started distributing the livestock card. The card was formally introduced on January 9 in Pakpattan by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. There are currently 99,000 animals owned by these livestock holders, and the verification process for new applications is still under progress.
